FVN Open House & Potluck

November 21 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

WHEN: Saturday, November 21st – 9AM-12PM Pacific Time, with potluck to follow.

WHAT: In this Open House, participants will be introduced to the Fierce Vulnerability Network, including it’s core principles and practices through a mini-workshop and presentation. This will be followed by a potluck lunch.

Please bring a dish to share!

ABOUT THE NETWORK: The rising converging crises of the climate crisis, mass extinction, rising authoritarianism, resource depletion and the threat of AI can be overwhelming. Where do we start? What can we do?

The Fierce Vulnerability Network is a decentralized movement of local teams dedicated to addressing the poly-crisis with the fierceness necessary to stop injustice and the love needed to heal it. Together, let us imagine a way to respond to climate catastrophe, attacks by ICE, rising authoritarianism and more by committing to our own healing, doubling down on relationships, and reminding ourselves of universal interdependence while cultivating the courage to step into the front-lines of justice work.

WHO: The event will be facilitated by Kazu Haga from the Bay Area Region and Tim Nafziger from the Ventura County Region of FVN, and is co-sponsored by the Monterey Peace & Justice Center.
