We are excited to welcome you to the Fierce Vulnerability Network Open House: a space to meet, connect, and learn more about the next steps for onboarding into the Network.
FVN is an experimental and visionary network of small teams spread across the United States and Canada, with interest extending across the globe. Together, we are exploring what it might look like to build a movement capable of responding to the poly-crisis with both fierceness and vulnerability, with courage and tenderness, with power and love.
By design, this network is not intended to be for everyone. We are attempting to create a home for those who feel called to deep personal, cultural, and systemic transformation; for those who sense that the crises of our time require more than policy change alone; and for those who long to be in community with others who are committed to healing, liberation, and collective awakening.
This is not a small invitation, nor is it a small commitment. The work of embodying the world we long for asks much of us.
If something in this vision resonates with you, we invite you to join us. Bring your questions, your curiosity, your hopes, your grief and your longing. We do not pretend to have all the answers. In many ways, this Network is itself an experiment in learning how to live into a future we cannot yet fully see. But perhaps, together, we can discover the next skillful steps toward what our ancestor Joanna Macy called the Great Turning — the transition from an industrial growth society to a life-sustaining society.
This event is open to anyone who has participated in an in-person two-day Fierce Vulnerability workshop, or the online three-month Fierce Vulnerability Kinship Lab. You are also welcome to join us if you were personally invited by somebody who has attended one or the other.
